About Igor Petrushevski
During the last 25 years of his teaching career Prof. Petrushevski has produced a large number of major international competition winners in competitions such as: P.I. Tchaikovsky, N. Paganini, Margaret Long-Thibaud, Tibor Varga, R. Lipizer, Indianapolis, Tokyo, H. Wieniavski, Cologne, J. Heifetz, Sion, Postacchini, J. Joachim, B. Britten, Caneti, G. Enescu, Valsesia and A. Khachaturian. His students have performed with Maxim Vengerov, Krzysztof Penderecki, Vladimir Jurovski, Christian Jarvi, Schlomo Mintz amongst many others.

Igor Petrushevski is considered as one of the best violin teachers in Europe. His work with children is resulting in pupils as young as 12 years old.
